From what I can see in this picture, your hair color and skin tone don't go well with the orange lipstick. You'll do better with pinks, plums, and reds for lipstick, blush, and nail polish.
I base this on a color system called ';Color Me Beautiful'; that was the rage in the 1980s - and it truly worked. Over the years more info has been added so it's a more complete package of info than years ago.
This was based on the seasons, spring, summer, fall, and winter. Springs had natural red tones to their hair and a yellowish undertone to their skin, and the hair could be a strawberry blonde to a mid range rich brown, with fair to medium skin; freckles were quite common. Autumns also had the red tones to the hair and yellow undertones to the skin but hair color was darker than a Spring, ie dark red and rich auburn. Summer was an ash blond to medium ash brown, meaning no red tint to the hair naturally; skin had more of a blue undertone. Winters had dark hair with no red tones and medium to dark skin with blue undertones. Depending upon what season you were, that helped you pick clothing colors, makeup colors, etc.Do I pull off orange lipstick?
mmm, can you find a paler version of the lipstick? it doesn't quite complement your skin tone or hair color.
NO.
Its not you, no one can pull off a color like that.
Try nude colors instead.
yes.
I vote YES on that notion (:
