They look washed out.Can you wear red lipstick with a blue dress?
Its not really the kind of blue to wear with red - its more of an aquamarine colour and so I would reccomend something nudey like Mac lipstick in Hue with a light pink gloss over the top, with dark smokey eyes. If it were a more true blue, going with the red theme, a fuschia lipstick would contrast with it amazingly.
certainly, wearing lipstick the same color as your outfit is outdated and can actually take away from it. A bright pop of color is the way to go and will make you and your dress stand out.
You shouldn't wear lipstick with that dress, try a tinted lipgloss, one that compliments your skin tone.
