Where can I buy a Vegan Lipstick, Bright Red but with Blue Notes !?
I'm looking to buy a lipstick with no petroleum or harsh chemicals.
I wear a really 40's vintage colour at the moment but it's ust from Max Factor. I want to change to something less toxic.
But here's the catch I need it to be Bright red (pillar box) with no hints of orange just blues (to keep my teeth looking white!).

okay for eye popping blue eyes, get peaches, browns, and lavenders are best. if you want to dull out the them out, maybe tone them down or make them a little more deeper instead of popping, grays and deep blues.
since you have the sandy blonde hair keep the lips light. nudes and frosted colors. dark lip colors make your lips seem thiner anyways
and also keep your blush light. if you are really tan you can go a little bit darker but dont go too dar. stick with light pinks of peaches.

I would recommend a brown liner, pearlescent white or pink eyeshadow, peachy pink blush and a highlighter for cheecks and under eye brows..
Pinks, blue and golds will work for you. Instead of black eyeliner, try charcoal gray, charcoal brown or navy as a nice alternative- not quiet as dark, but the same look.

Its not really the kind of blue to wear with red - its more of an aquamarine colour and so I would reccomend something nudey like Mac lipstick in Hue with a light pink gloss over the top, with dark smokey eyes. If it were a more true blue, going with the red theme, a fuschia lipstick would contrast with it amazingly.
certainly, wearing lipstick the same color as your outfit is outdated and can actually take away from it. A bright pop of color is the way to go and will make you and your dress stand out.
You shouldn't wear lipstick with that dress, try a tinted lipgloss, one that compliments your skin tone.

There are several tones, hues, shades, and textures of red lipstick. Depending on your skintone, and the look you are trying to achieve ie bold or subtle, choose one that works best for you. Red lipstick is magic if you pick the right one. Try going to a makeup counter where you can get help with picking the right colors to match your tones and personality. But YES it can look amazing with brown hair and blue eyes. i think the only reason u dont feel good about the lipstick is because u dont have confidence in urself. u dont have to just stick wit one shade of red. u can go pink-red, orange-red, red-red (like bright), off red (so, like pale orange-red) n earth-red (so, a darker red that sorta blends into brown). n if u still dont think it looks rite, u can always go 4 red gloss instead a bold red-ish lipstick.

There are several tones, hues, shades, and textures of red lipstick. Depending on your skintone, and the look you are trying to achieve ie bold or subtle, choose one that works best for you. But YES it can look amazing with brown hair and blue eyes. i think the only reason u dont feel good about the lipstick is because u dont have confidence in urself. u dont have to just stick wit one shade of red. u can go pink-red, orange-red, red-red (like bright), off red (so, like pale orange-red) n earth-red (so, a darker red that sorta blends into brown). n if u still dont think it looks rite, u can always go 4 red gloss instead a bold red-ish lipstick.

I personally think red lipstick looks too harsh, I would try a reddish toned gloss though, that might look nice.

After making a smokey eye you can put your colors blended with the black smokiness to make it look really gradual yet dramatic and i somtimes like to put a bit of highlight in the corners of my eyes -where your tear ducts are - a bright white shimery eye shadow and i use a smudge brush for that. i dont put a whole lot of the white shadow i just use it because i like the contrast of the smokey and the high light and the white ( never a mate eyeshdow -make it a nice shimmery one-) shadow blends with your choice of color for eye shadow nicely.
If you dont want to take the smokey route i still recomend looking for a nice high lighting shadow to make you look fresh and if you are just using color or keeping it slightly simple you can go slightly pink but keep it sheer. Thats what i personally do.

Wash in hottest water safe for fabric.
OR
Place stain face down on paper towels.
Sponge back of stain with a spot remover.
Replace towels frequently.
Dampen stain with water and pretreat with a liquid laundry detergent, like Tide, up to 30 minutes.
Rub the detergent carefully into the stain.
Rinse and wash in hottest water safe for fabric.
Rub in vegetable or mineral oil onto the affected areas and allow it to soak for 15 minutes.
Blot excess oils with an absorbent paper towel or terry cloth rags.
Then sponge in a solution of 50% ammonia with water (unless the fabric is silk or wool).
Rinse thoroughly with cool water and wring out.
Sponge remaining affected areas liberally with isopropyl rubbing alcohol.
Apply laundry pre treat and launder washables in hot water.
HOWEVER, a little lipstick contains a lot of dye in even a small particle. A VALUABLE PIECE OF ADVICE is to take your laundry to a professional with a stain removal expert at your local Laundromat or dry cleaners.
I use 1/3 cup white vinegar and 2/3 cups of water in a sprey bottle gl********

Or, you can just go to the MAC store and buy the eye pigment in Teal and mix some pigment with clear lip balm or lip gloss. Then, apply it and it will be blue.

it really depends more on what your skin tone is, whether you can wear orange, or pink. most people's look good in one, and lousy in the other, reardless of how dark/light their skin may be. what clothes look best on you? the lipstick that will work will be similar tones. pay attention too to warmer vs. cooler colors.

So, I went to Sephora and bought 4 Urban Decay liners and a lipstick from Makeup Forever (so. expensive. jeez.). I wore the lipstick today and I LOVE it!
For the eyes, I used Gunmetal and Yeyo. I'm really pale so I can't use black. I put Gunmetal on my top lid, Yeyo in the waterline, and lightly applied Gunmetal again on the outer half of the lower lid.
I was wondering if it'd be a bad idea to do the same thing with Gunmetal on the top and Stash or 1999 on the bottom. Would the colors look weird together/ would it be too much color?

For green eyes, especially since your eyes are large, try Purples and plums, eye shadow and eyeliner..Purple is lots of fun. And for your lips, since you have gifted full lips, don't overwhelm them with too much colour, especially if you wanna focus on your eyes. Try rose, coral or warm pink lipsticks or lipgloss. Focus only on one feature either eyes or lips, done overwhelm your face with too much makeup, enhance your beauty.
No eyeshadow, just line your eyes with a dark brown/black eyeliner and black mascara. Use a natural light pink gloss on your lips or lipstick if you prefer. Use a blue toned light pink to contrast with your yellow skin esp when you have a tan in summer. Loreal glam shine in pink moon would be perfect.

I saw this produt demonstrated at the Clothes Show in 2004!! So frustrating as I too have always wondered where to get it! It stains the lips, doesn't it - rather than coat them like a lipstick? I'll keep looking and let you know if I find anything!

But, i have bought the Barry M(TM) Touch of magic lip paint which is green but on the level of alkali in your lips turns to a individual shade of pink. i would highly recommend it. last long and looks b-e-a-u-tiful .
