Using orange lipstick under concealer for dark circles?

I need something that will for sure cover my extreme dark circles. I have tried on god knows how many concealers and eventually the red, purple still seems to come through. I am pregnant but even before my pregnancy my dark circles where horrible. I wear eye moisturizer day and night, I then use the Bobbi Brown corrector, then I use concealer (currently using bobbi brown concealer kit) and then set it with the powder it comes with. I was thinking of trying the orange lipstick under my concealer but I am irie on putting lipstick in my eye are. I want to know if there is something else like that that is specifically for the eye area.Using orange lipstick under concealer for dark circles?
Yikes, I don't think putting a lipstick under your eyes would do much for your skin, especially considering that most lipsticks tend to contain wax.

Maybe try a good, thick, full coverage concealer. MAC has some excellent full coverage products, and even if they tend to be pricey, they usually last a long time, and are worth the money when you see the results. My suggestion would be to head to a department store MAC counter with no makeup on and ask for a demo. An artist will help you find the right shade, and show you how to apply it correctly. Wear the makeup for a little while, and see how it wears. If you like it, go pick some up. Set it with a translucent powder, and you're good to go.Using orange lipstick under concealer for dark circles?
Paula dorf has a fabulous concealer that is very orange based and works fantastically for my dark circles. Also Circle/Delete by Jane Iredale is fantastic. Or if you want something even more orange you can buy some Ben Nye theatrical makeup in orange, which sounds odd, but it works very well on darker skin tones. You could also try applying in a patting motion with a latex sponge (a real professional latex sponge, not like the nasty plasticy ones at Sally beauty, you can buy good ones from makeup designory) to get better coverage as well.
Use YSL Touch Eclat or another highlighter pen like that, most makeup ranges do them, or concealers like Benefit Erase Paste, you need one that reflects light. People always say different colours for concealing under eye circles, I think yellow is the best but light relecting concealer is better.
I've never heard of doing that.

I think for most people it would be obvious and look pretty bad, but it also depends on what your skin tone is.

If you have warmer skin it may work.

I think the hardest part would be finding a match for your skintone.
Use the tri concealar , it would have a ivory , beige and green , th green is good for red spots and dark circles then you apply the beige etc. I think almay makes a good one.
For purplish undereyes try a yellow concealer. This neutralizes the purple. (Purple and yellow are opposites in the color wheel). I put lotion under my eyes first, then the concealer so it doesn't streak.
try using a matte eye shadow in an orange/peach shade and blend your normal concealer on top. it works wonderfully, i have extremely dark circles!
ummm. just use a nice darker conceler than your foundation...
