Red lipstick is too aggressive for school. instead go for a soft pink or peachy color.

not necessarily slutty but it def is messy....but since its a fun disco dance i would go for it just try and be careful not to get it on your teeth or smudge your lips so it wont get on your face
Even though it's 'in', probably a bad idea- kinda messy and, well, a lot could go wrong. I would say tone it down justtt a notch and wear some red tinted lip gloss. Still bold- but youll fit in to some degree, since it's only a school dance. :)
messy, i would wear red lipgloss not lipstick.. since its a school thing and it could get on your teeth
