I have blonde hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion. What types of red shade lipsticks should I wear?

Hi dear!

I also have a fair complexion, and was having a few problems on choosing the right red!

Then I saw this sephora's video that helps you to choose the right red color based on your complexion, eye color...and helps you to match with the right lip liner!

I end up choosing really deep reds, a little bit darker!!

But see for yourself, and then when you're ready to buy...TRY IT ON!! :)

Since you have a fair complexion i would not recommend wearing red lipstick. Bright reds will wash you out and make you look even more pale.....(im rellllllly pale so it sux). Go for lighter colors.....like if u have fair skin ur supposed to wear purples and pinks (for like eyeshadow) or pinks for lipgloss.I have blonde hair, blue eyes and a fair complexion. you probably shouldn't wear reds, as it will wash out your complexion. but if you have to, wear lighter ones so it doesn't make you look like a clown. and don't wear a lot of other makeup, so that your face doesn't look too busy. good luck!
I'd say stay away from reds and go for the pinks.

Peace.
any warm colors!
try neutral colors
hmm fair complexion....

go for a more pinkish color :)
If you're going to go with red go with a very simple red, not too bright or dark. I wouldn't go with red at all with your complexion.
I'd stick with the light red family or even more pinks. I suggest you don't use a coral pink . Mauve would probably be nice on you.
med. - no way to go dark or bright red

if i were u i would go with a hot pink shade
Fair skin and red lipstick is fabulous...and blondes look amazing in red. I'd say go with a classic red. MAC makes a great one called Ruby Woo. It's a true classic red color with a matte finish. Pair it with a very simple eye and you'll look great...if you want a true red that is. The good thing is that you can go to a MAC store or to a counter and Macy's or Norstrom's and try the lipstick on first before you buy it. If you don't like the Ruby Woo, they have tons of reds to choose from. The MAC lipsticks are $14 where as a drug store brand averages at about $10 so it's not too much more. Good luck :)
